It’s finally here: The day of the big concert!

Filing a claim through Auto Club

The steps to filing a claim with Auto Club are thankfully quick and easy. You’ll need a few things to get yourself started:
  • Your Auto Club insurance card
  • The date and time of the incident (this is also referred to as ‘Date of Loss’)
  • Details on where and when the damage to your auto glass occurred
  • The size of the damage
What does my Auto Club car glass insurance claim cover?

Comprehensive coverage covers a great deal of incidents that you may run into when it comes to car damage. These include everything from natural disasters to your car getting keyed. 

Luckily, in the state of Florida, policyholders who have purchased comprehensive auto coverage are not liable to pay for any expenses related to windshield repair or replacement.

Following Florida Statute 627.728, deductibles for comprehensive coverage do not apply to automobile glass.

“Comprehensive coverage; deductible not to apply to motor vehicle glass.—The deductible provisions of any policy of motor vehicle insurance, delivered or issued in this state by an authorized insurer, providing comprehensive coverage or combined additional coverage shall not be applicable to damage to the windshield of any motor vehicle covered under such policy.”
